1993 Creative Development Grant to develop video installation works, awarded by Arts Queensland.
Represent Australia in the First Asia Pacific Triennale, Queensland Art Gallery.

1989 Visual Arts and Craft Board Studio with Stipend, Greene St, Soho, NewYork. Australia Council Grant. Traveled and studied art in Egypt, Spain and Portugal.

1984-85 Postgraduate study in German University, Kassel Gesamthochschule, (one year) (Hochschule fuer Bildende Kunst), Stipend by DAAD Scholarship, German Government Academic Exchange Service.
Travelled and studied art in the major collections of England and Europe with the assistance of the Dyason Bequest administered NSW Art Gallery.
